Miss LaTanya Curley

Thank you for choosing to educate your child at Window Rock Unified School District. I am very honored to be serving the students of Window Rock Unified School District #8. This is my 10th year with WRUSD #8  and my 15th year overall as an educator. I believe in data driven and research based instruction. I teach in a systematic way to ensure student growth. I teach to proficiency, so my students get a lot of review and repetition to master a skill. As a teacher of students with exceptionalities, I provide structured and individualized instruction that focuses on their annual education goals which are aligned to the Arizona state standards.

I want every student entrusted to me to feel safe, loved, and respected. Everyday I expect my students to put forth their best effort. I want them to feel successful and close the gap in learning. When they leave my classroom, I hope I am sending out caring, honest, empathetic, self-resilient, self-confident, and courageous individuals who will be impactful global citizens.

This 2021-2022 School Year I will be working with 2nd & 3rd grade students at Tsehootsooi Primary Learning Center and K-6th students at Tsehootsooi Dine' Bi'Olta.   (To go back to the TPLC website click here: https://www.wrschool.net/domain/1676)
