    Good afternoon,
The University of New Mexico’s Health Science Center and Combined BA/MD Degree Program sends its best wishes for you and your students this Fall semester. I hope you have had a chance to settle into this semester and that your instruction is going well.

I wanted to reach out and let you know that although I will not be able to travel to your school to speak with your students about The BA/MD Program, I am still available as a resource for your students to assist with any inquiries regarding our program. As the student recruiter, I can speak to students or classes through Zoom, Google Classroom, RepVisits, or any other available teleconferencing platform.

Additionally, we have scheduled weekly virtual information sessions for the BA/MD Program through which students can attend a presentation and ask questions about any aspect of the program. This virtual information session will be hosted every week on Friday from 4:00–4:30PM and can be found at the following link (and on the UNM Admissions webpage): https://unm.secure.force.com/events#/list

Please let me know if you are interested in scheduling a presentation with your students. Thank you and take care!

    UNDATE NEWS FROM BA/MD PROGRAM:
The Combined BA/MD Degree Program released the following statement:

"It has come to our attention that many applicants were unable to complete either the ACT or SAT as a result of widespread test cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  After careful consideration the leadersip of the Combined BA/MD Degree Program has decided to waive this requirement for the 2021 BA/MD Progam application.  Interviews will be offered to applicants who have submitted a completed application by the originally established deadline."

A complete application is contingent on the submission of the following applictin components:

    • Self-Identification
    • Photo Upload
    • Personal Statement
    • Personal Experiences
    • UNM Admissions Verification
