Contact or attend an Upcoming Scholarship Workshop!

The American IndianStudent Services (AISS) hosts Scholarship Workshops featuring American Indian Service (AIS), an organization located in Utah that provides significant financial resources to Native college students.

The Scholarship Workshop will provide attendees the opportunity to meet an AIS representative, become informed about the organization's mission, and learn more about how their processes for 2023-2024 scholarship awards work.  Participants that attend the full session will then work closely with an AISS Advisor to access additional tips for getting organized, applying for the AIS opportunity, and receive expanded information about a range of other scholarship options to keep in mind as they prepare for their respective college experience.

As you know, the Spring term is generally the timeframe in which students have the widest span of scholarship options available to them for the subsequent academic year.  We would love to have your college-bound seniors contact us for Scholarship Information and Workshop .

    • 2024-2025 FAFSA is OPEN!
      • Priority Date is JUNE 30, 2024 – meaning students who apply before then may be eligible for priority aid (certain types of grants, work study and certain loan funding). Students can still submit their FAFSA after the Priority Date but the priority aid is limited so doing it early is beneficial!
      • For federal aid, submit your application as early as possible, but no earlier than October 1, 2023. We must receive your application no later than June 30, 2024.
      • If you are filing close to one of these deadlines, we recommend you file either online at fafsa.gov or via the myStudentAid mobile app. These are the fastest and easiest ways to apply for aid.
      • Your college must have your correct, complete information by your last day of enrollment in the 2024-2025 school year.

    •   DEADLINES:
      • 2022-2023 Academic Year - the FAFSA form must be submitted by 11:59 pm Central time (CT) on June 30, 2023.  Any corrections or updates must be submitted by 11:59 pm CT on Sept 10, 2023.

      • 2021-2022 Academic Year - The FAFSA form must be submitted by 11:59 pm Central time (CT) on June 30, 2022. Any corrections or updates must be submitted by 11:59 pm CT on Sept 10, 2022.

      • College FAFSA Deadlines - Each college may have its own deadline. Check with the college(s) you're interested in attending. You may also want to ask your college about its definition of an application deadline. Is it the date your FAFSA Form is processed or the date the college receives your processed FAFSA data?
